The 9 Best Restaurants for Brunch in Copenhagen according to TikTok

When I'm traveling to a new place the first thing I always do is look up the place on Instagram and more recently TikTok. Lets face it we all want the instagram worthy story with the aesthetic brunch. By looking at TikTok this is brings up results for places that aren't as easily found on a simple google search. I find it especially helpful when looking for places to eat. One thing Copenhagen appears to have an abundance of is beautiful restaurants.

Although I did not get to visit all of these restaurants during my stay in Copenhagen it was not for lack of wanting to. Unfortunately I only flew to Copenhagen for three days. There is only so much time and room in my belly for food. However, I thought it'd be a waste to not share all the recommendations I found on my deep dive into TikTok food videos or food tok as its sometimes referred to. So here they are: The best restaurants according to TikTok. In this blog post I have included the price of plates, location, their rating on google and a link to their website.

Mad and Kaffe

Price of Plate: not listed

Location: multiple

Rating on google: 4.5/5

Most definitely the most popular restaurant on tiktok Mad and Kaffe lives up to expectation. The most popular option to get is definitely their breakfast board. The staff give you a sheet to tick what you want. The categories are greens, dairy, bakery and treat of the day. You can pick 3, 5 or 7 options. Unfortunately, our flight was delayed so we didn't get to try the breakfast. Instead we opted for the dinner. When I say one of the best burgers I have ever had (although obviously not as good as Dad's). A must do in Copenhagen.

Illum Rooftop

Price of Plate: not listed

Location: Købmagergade 20, 1150 København, Denmark

Rating on google: 4.2/5

Located on the top floor of a department store this place was a divine. Whether you want to just get a coffee, a croissant or go for an Italian dinner. The coffee was gorgeous. Imagine sitting outside, the sun hitting your face, the sound of buskers coming from the streets below - immaculate vibes. We loved it so much we came back for dinner that evening.

Buka

Price of plate: 25-65 DKK/3.30-8.70 euro

Location: Store Kongensgade 18, 1264 København, Denmark

Rating on google: 4.7/5

If you like pastries you're in for a treat with this place. The menu includes porridge pots, pastries and sandwiches. I never made it to this place. However, it looks perfect for a pastry and a coffee. The pistachio croissant caught my eye in particular when researching the website.

Atelier September

Price of plate: 40-125 DKK/5.30-16.80 euro

Location: Gothersgade 30, 1123 København, Denmark

Rating on google: 4.3/5

This place is located in an old art gallery - I know it sounds promising already right? Another great place for brunch that kept coming up in my tiktok searches. Their meals include pancakes, avocado on toast and porridge. The food looks divine.

Apollo bar

Price of Plate: not listed

Location: Nyhavn 2, 1051 København, Denmark

Rating on google: 4.1/5

Link to website: https://apollobar.dk/

Located in the Charlottenborg Museum courtyard, the official exhibition gallery of the Royal Danish Academy of Art. The facade is beautiful with Ivy cascading down it. The menu changes based on the season. If you are lucky when you go there can be anything from jazz festivals to flea markets on in the courtyard.

The Sixteen twelve

Price of plate: 30 -135 DK/ 4-15 euro

Location: Jægersborggade 8 KL TH, 2200 København, Denmark

Rating on google: 4.7/5

Advertised on their website as next level brunch this place is promising a lot. Although this is another place I did not visit it does appear to deliver. The food on the menu sounds simply beautiful I mean just read their french toast description: twice soaked brioche, honeycomb, coconut yogurt and caramelised pineapple, salt roasted coconut, and berries. I must say I am a bit devastated we did not make it here.

Yellow

Price of Plate: not listed

Location: Kapelvej 1, 2200 København, Denmark

Rating on google: 4.4/5

Link to website: https://yellowkbh.dk/

If you are looking for cocktails and brunch this is the place for you. There is not much online about this place and the website leaves you wanting more without as much as a menu. However, the reviews describe this place as a good vibe - what more could you want?

The Bagel Co

Price of plate: 65-82 DKK/8-11 euro

Location: Gothersgade 17, 1123 København K, Denmark

Ratings on google: 4.2/5

Link to website: https://thebagelco.dk/

Not hard to guess what the specialty in this cafe is. If bagels are your thing this is definitley the place for you. From pulled pork bagels (I mean..) to spicy falafel, omelet and veggie for the vegetarians. They also of course do coffee, juice, sweet treats and salad.

Olioli

Price of plate: 69-129 DKK/9-17 euro

Location: Frederiksborggade 31, 1360 København, Denmark

Ratings on google: 4.0/5

With multiple locations in Copenhagen you are bound to be near one of them. Olioli specializes in poke bowls with a twist. If thats not to your liking you can also make your own bowl or go for the original acai bowls. There is also juices, smoothies and coffee.

Tik tok is a great option to promote and make public on the Internet a company in the field of catering and not only. And imovie for windows is a great way to create cool and attractive videos for your business's tiktok account.
